Please welcome this gorgeous girl into care.

She has been straying for at least 3 years.

Brought into care yesterday in such a sorry state, poorly mouth, teeth, skin and bones, scabs all over, lumps all over her tummy, full of fleas and ticks..... BUT such a friendly girl despite what she must be suffering.

Azrael visited our vet today. She clearly has a long road ahead of her.

Her fleas were treated straight away in care and all ticks removed. Today, the vet ran bloods... she is severely anaemic.... This could be one of many things, but first thought she may be FIV or FELV positive OR secondly a tumour.. (her stomach is fairly solid which may indicate this)

We tested for FELV and FIV and thankfully clear.

Shes been sent home to foster Mummy Jo on Antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and steroids, to keep her comfortable.

If no signs of getting better in 7 days, we will return her for a scan to check for a tumour

Azrael is such a gorgeous girl, shes SOOO loving, and so "grateful" for her care, approx 5 years old... she's a bit war battered, but we will do all we can to save her, if we can.

For now, she's safe and warm, and being treated, she's in her pen in her foster Mum's care, Thank you Jo, she's warm and settled.

We've everything crossed for you sweetheart.
