Hello and welcome to Paws & Mittens -- a small, self-funded rescue based in Essex that helps to rehome and rescue cats and kittens
Many of our furry friends are fostered through us in our "Kitty-Haven" and "Kitty-Nursery", although we also have a great network of volunteer Foster Mums who work tirelessly for the cause. In some cases, we are able to do direct home to home adoptions.
All of the cats and kittens in our adoption album are in need of a new forever home! We also have many other cats in our care at any given time, not quite yet ready for adoption.
We rely solely on donations to help keep our rescue operating and to provide the food, litter and Vet care for all our cats.
Donations of food, Wood-Based litter, toys, Kitchen Towel, Blankets, Cleaning Products and Pet Carriers are always welcomed.
Viewing of Cats and Kittens is by appointment only, in consideration of work commitments and that the rescue is run from the family home. Please message to arrange to meet our cats. (Email or Facebook) We aim to respond to all messages within 48 hours.
